Held within the London Charterhouse, a historic complex of buildings in Smithfield, in the City of London, the collection is, in a way, a subtle dialogue between womenswear and menswear.

The collection boasted a variety of influences. Firstly, from Japan to evoke the period in which Burton and Lee McQueen would travel to Japan on inspiration trips. The, Sarah Burton also paid tribute to Savile Row’s tailoring tradition and English embroidery, where the attention to details pushed to extremes was striking.
