Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2019 – Paris Fashion Week

‘’The real Parisian of today’’, was the seasonal theme and the big idea Demna Gvasalia brought to Balenciaga this season.
The designer let go so most of the streetwear claptraps he’s been stereotyped with to focus mostly on tailoring, and the precision silhouettes Cristóbal Balenciaga pioneered. He focused on minimal cool silhouette with an oddly accessible range of street-friendly tailoring, knitwear and statement button-less wrap-over cocoon coats and jackets calculated to please both men and women.
