The collection blended traditional masculine codes with modern elegance and femininity. It was infused with a Nordic vibe and patterns. Nordic, tartan and madras references, and noble materials like cachemire – Cucinelli’s core business – alternated with elegant volumes and patterns – Intarsia and embroideries peeked as floral patterns.
“People now covet special pieces, investment pieces”, he said. “They also want something tactile; there’s a love for the handmade, for something comforting but beautiful. The sense of touch, connection, and physicality is now so important”.
