Burberry joins other luxury houses in celebrating Lunar New Year 2023 – the year of the water rabbit – with a playful capsule, featuring the star animal.
The capsule features the vintage Thomas Burberry “TB” monogram revisited for the occasion with a set of rabbit ears. This design, alongside another featuring two rabbits positioned back-to-back so that their ears meet to form a heart, adorns pieces in the capsule, which includes outerwear including a soft fleece aviator jacket, sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, varsity jackets and reversible down jackets with a rabbit logo for men. For women, the focus is on oversized shirt dresses, pleated skirts printed with a cartoonish all-over bunny pattern, a soft fleece jacket, an oversized intarsia knit sweater as well as a quilted leather handbag with an embossed bunny pattern and plaid or bunny pattern scarves.
In addition, there are items such as caps and beanies with playful bunny ears that will put you in the shoes of a cute bunny.
The collection’s campaign, captured by director Zika Liu and photographer Sky, features actors Qi Xi, Shi Pengyuan and sportswoman Zhao Lina.
