Santa Fe, New Mexico, is the Stuart Vevers’s next stop for Coach 1941’s Spring/Summer 2019 show. Inspired by a recent trip to Santa Fe, specifically the Ghost Ranch, famous for its prehistoric fossils and Georgia O’Keeffe paintings, the designer offered a charming and contemporary interpretation of an Eighties’ New Romantic vibe.
He also once again partnered with the Walt Disney Co. on a range of pieces, which for the first time were presented on the Coach 1941 catwalk. Dumbo, Bambi, Pinocchio…, these classic cartoon characters were used in charming tongue-in-cheek ways, for example, they were printed upside down.
