The 31-year-old designer Craig Green is one of the rising stars of the London Fashion Week Men’s, to whom focused all attention at the LFWM third day.
Green, who won British men’s designer of the year for the second time at last month’s Fashion Awards in London, is the rare designer who can balance the conceptual with the commercial.
‘’I like the dialogue between simple things and those that are not’’, he told to the French newspaper Le Monde. This dialogue is omnipresent in his collections. The designer likes to explore the boundary, sometimes so far but also so close, between the functional and the spectacular; he likes to question the link between art and clothing, working tirelessly on forms and fabrics.
These explorations standed out once again in his collection Fall/Winter 2018, showing the Craig Green’s passion for textures, volumes and for this improbable dialogue between the wearable and the conceptual.
