Demi Lovato made her debut on Harper’s Bazaar US for the May 2020 issue. Lensed by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, she wore Valentino dress and Cartier jewelry on both the regular newsstand cover (above) and the subscribers’ offering (below).
In the cover story, the American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality was styled by Miguel Enamorado, with beauty from make-up artist Hung Vanngo, hair stylist Chris McMillan and manicurist Lisa Jachno.
In the accompanying interview, Demi opened up about her journey to recovery, her upcoming album and how she plans on maintaining her health. ‘’My life motto was ‘powering through it’’, she said to the magazine on her independence, ‘’but when you power through your life all day, every day for 10 years, you’re ignoring all that pain or you’re just trying not to self-destruct…It’s not really living. I’m feeling it out as things go, but I finally feel free’’.
