The Diesel-ization that Glenn Martens set out to achieve when he took over as Diesel‘s creative director continues with this Pre-Fall 2023 collection where denim, utility, wearability and experimentation made for all are heavily featured.

My focus for this collection is on real, everyday fashion. It’s all about the garments that will go into our stores, with the cheekiness and the charm that’s totally Diesel. The pieces have their own personality – when you see them, you just know they are from our Diesel universe,” said Martens.

Denim, as expected, plays a key role: woven like jersey for hoodies, sweatpants and even underwear; cut with moto detailing or inside out for jeans; or with unexpected details like hidden waistband inside jeans.
Nostalgic for the 2000s, Glenn Martens injectes a healthy dose of the brand’s D logo on a number of pieces: on the back of jeans, mini skirts and hoodies; printed in metallic and oversized on sweaters; or found as a belt buckle.

There are endless denim options, like sleeveless slim denim dresses zippered down the front from neck to hem; long denim skirts; denim jeans zippered at the side; and denim mini-skirts and jeans with a D patchworked over the butt.

Other highlights include long-sleeve t-shirts with world map prints enlarged and distorted to create an abstract camouflage, emphasizing Diesel’s global ambitions, square blazers, multi-pocket bombers, faded flannel shirts, Canadian tuxedos and plenty of accessories and footwear including a SERENDIPITY PRO X1 that gives fresh energy to Diesel’s classic sneaker, PROTOTYPE and PROTOTYPE CR in new colors and new pieces from the Diesel Eyewear collection, a special collaboration with Luxottica.
