For Spring/Summer 2021, the Australian designer Dion Lee was inspired by New York City’s designation as a tropical climate – the result of global warming.

Highlighting global climate change, Lee virtually showcased a lineup of minimal, tonal looks with a neutral color palette. The key inspiration was seen from the outfits, which featured a molded leather top, for man and woman, in the shape of a Monstera leaf. Fringes were continuously seen throughout the collection on a series of camouflage-printed shorts, pants and skirts that were styled with matching items like thigh-high boots.
He’s testing out new experiments with knotting and macramé too seen on tops and sandals. Elsewhere, he explored a black and white color palette, in addition to green and pastel pink shades.
