Andalusia was the idea behind Elie Saab’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The Elie Saab woman is not ready to compromise, as suggested in the show notes: ‘’Like Andalusia, she is what she is’’. And for her, the Lebanese designer presented an array that included sharp, feminine suits complete with oversized pussy-bow fronts, dresses with deep plunging V-necks and peekaboo lace that bedecked everything from pencil skirts to party frocks. There were long black feathers, too, jutting out from sheer, black gowns, and fanning out from the belly toward the shoulder, and crystals the size of a thumb.
