Marquis Emilio Pucci’s 1970s swimwear served as starting point for this Spring/Summer 2022 collection designed by the Emilio Pucci design team – Camille Miceli, a longtime LVMH designer at Dior and Louis Vuitton, assumed her position as creative director this month, and had no hand in the minimalist looks for Spring/Summer.

Updating and revising archival prints that the company’s founder created taking inspirations from his trips around the globe, the creative team presented a range of lively, fluid pajama-like sets rendered in vibrant tones and in graphic motifs and tropical references, specifically the prints Nairobi, Tartuca, Africana and Cyprea provided specific inspiration for a number of the patterns and designs used throughout the collection.
