There are a number of different ways to communicate traditional femininity via clothing, and Giambattista Valli look at this season on the color pink. It shaded everything from the floral wall backdrop to an array of satin, silk, chiffon and ostrich feather-bedecked ensembles. Pink flowers blossomed on minimalist black short suits, a departure for the label while a pink ostrich feather skirt suit was worn as nonchalantly as an embroidered black sweatshirt.
‘’You have to be young in spirit in 2020’’, said the designer who has updated his signature take on Parisian chic for a Gen Z audience.
