Inspired by the 1930s, Giorgio Armani’s collection gave new meaning to a “sense of elegance created by renouncing the superfluous, rather than excess”. This austere mentality seemed surprisingly appropriate for the moment. Skillfully tailored short fitted jackets were paired with flowing velvet pants, ice blue tuxedos with cargo pants and soft velvet coats while the color palette is typically Armani, with navy blues, dusty pinks, muted silver and white hues.

As for Giorgio Armani’s passion for Art Deco, it came through in all the shiny black and silver surfaces and geometric brocades.
