After a official debut in Paris in June 2019 and then his first Milan show last January, the Copenhagen label Han Kjøbenhavn continued this season to stay in the capital of Lombardy.
Due to the pandemic and as part of Milan’s digital fashion week, Jannik Wikkelsø, founder and creative director of the label, unveiled his collection in a futuristic and sensory video.
‘’The classic show format has a presence and an energy, that can be challenging to transfer to the digital world. But we took the opportunity to push ourselves creatively and challenge the format’’, he said in a press release.
For Spring/Summer 2021, he was inspired by the anatomy and evolution of species.
Thus, the silhouettes have XXL shoulders which gave an architectural structure to the body while the cuts elongated and the sizes get tight. The addition of lace, ruffles and jersey added a touch of lightness to the collection where leather and silicone largely dominated.
