Hed Mayner, The Israeli designer and 2019 Karl Lagerfeld Prize winner, once again stands out for his obsession with the silhouette and for the way the clothes move.

His new Fall/Winter 2022 collection, focused on protection, was filled with oversized silhouettes where cuts elongate and exaggerate to create an unbalanced dynamism on the body.
Thus, gargantuan padded scarves smother and lengthen the body; XXL pants were held up on the waist and gathered at the front with one pleat; a fine gray chalk stripe double-breasted blazer with voluminous proportions and slumped down shoulders on the body was paired with slim trousers; and XXL-length trousers were associated with XXL quilted scarves made out of pastel and floral Liberty prints.
The soft color palette evoked arid landscapes soaked in sand and sun while the fabrics have been deliberately aged and washed out to give the pieces the impression that “you collected or found somewhere”, and “that don’t necessarily look designed”.
