Iris van Herpen proves once again that she is a wizard with fabrics in the Fall/Winter 2018 collection unveiled at Haute Couture Week in Paris.
As the movement for lab-grown materials continues to gather momentum, van Herpen this season explored synthetic biology and the intertwining relationships between the organic and the inorganic, biology and technology. The designer even coined a term for it: ‘’Syntopia’’.
