The Parisian label A.P.C. rakes wide for its “Interactions” series of collaborations. After Kid Kudi, Gwyneth Paltrow, Catherine Deneuve, stylist Suzanne Koller or Sacai, it’s Lacoste’s turn to be invited to join the movement.
Launched in February 2019, the A.P.C.’s “Interactions” project and its founder Jean Touitou have invited various personalities and artists, from all backgrounds, to create limited edition capsule collections for the French label.
For the 14th opus, Lacoste and its artistic director Louise Trotter were invited to bring the sophisticated, modern and comfortable universe of the brand to the sportswear wardrobe with military references dear to A.P.C.
The result was a sportswear wardrobe with a 90’s spirit, composed of timeless classics, from a navy blue nylon windbreaker to khaki gabardine pants (for men and women), including denim pieces, loose jeans, striped shirts and polo shirts, an XXL size tote bag, a candle that evoked tennis courts in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris and immaculate sneakers. Not forgetting of course the essential polo shirts in slightly oversized or patchwork versions, fleece pieces, jogging suits and sweatshirts.
Unsurprisingly, the two brands’ emblems were boldly blended to become one.
