Louis Vuitton launched its second LV² collection for Cruise 2022 (Resort 2022) continuing the creative collaboration between its men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh and the founder of the label Human Made, NIGO.

This Virgil Abloh and NIGO’ second collaboration for Louis Vuitton was inspired by NIGO and Abloh’s diverse cultural roots, which translated concretely into hybrid blends between Western tailoring à la 1950s and ’60s and the intricate designs of Japanese culture.
Blazers, denim suits, shirts, jackets and luggage all featured signature graphic elements of Human Made and Louis Vuitton: tiger head and red heart for the first, the Monogram and the classic checkerboard for the second.
The collaboration also extended to accessories which included co-branded briefcases and weekend bags, LV monogram or duck-shaped shoulder bags, fanciful and colorful square glasses, but also the LV Trainer available in two versions: one with an all-over graphic, and the other which mixed grainy leather with denim details.
