Rather than ruminate on decadent abundance for several seasons, John Galliano sped the process toward the complicated minimalism exquisite, powerful and beautifully crafted.
Released from the cacophony of couture’s excess, beautiful and high-interest clothes proudly flaunted their masterful constructions. Much of the lineup was dark, brooding even, with a hint of a Yohji Yamamoto influence. The focus was on silhouette, and that deconstructed-reconstructed way so much loved by Galliano.
