Maison Margiela has taken to Paris Fashion Week to showcase its Spring/Summer 2020 collection in its Artisanal co-ed show.

‘’Creative director John Galliano identifies the nature of the bourgeois gesture and investigates the impact of heritage codes in the age of cyber-industrial revolution’’, wrote the show note.

Combining both menswear and womenswear in one walk, creative director John Galliano presented everything from the highly unexpected collaboration between the French house and Reebok – developing a Tabi boot-meets-Instapump Fury hybrid – as well as many couture looks that reflect conflict between the bourgeois uniforms presented and the way they are produced.
