Designer Casey Cadwallader embraced the provocative spirit of Mugler’s legacy, first established under fashion house’s founder Thierry Mugler in the ‘80s, through body stockings, bra tops, and plenty of leather in the Fall/Winter 2020 collection.
Throughout the collection, intricate tailoring complements the female form, while boxy jackets and angular cuts hold true to the American designer’s educationally-inspired roots.
‘’Last season was so much about exposing the body and curves and using a cast diverse in sizes and ages’’, he said backstage. ‘’For Fall/Winter 2020, I wanted to play with more layers and volume and outerwear, but still with peeks of lingerie underneath’’.
