He thus played with contrasting textures and square and angular shapes, softened yet by his sexy/grunge touch: raw, unfinished edges; slits and cutouts baring skin unexpectedly. He also added a touch of romanticism to his men’s wardrobe, through lace crop tops and striped shirts layered with chiffon and embellished with feathers.
Also a staple for the designer, tartan motifs appeared on oversize shirts and Bermuda shorts, here matched with a small shoulder purse covered with rhinestones.
