For Fall/Winter 2019, Virgil Abloh gave his signature street-smart sportswear a ladylike edge. ‘’There’s an empowered woman, a young woman, that I’m enjoying not treating as a passing trend’’, he said in a preview.
All of the Off-White’s biggest hits were still there, alongside them were touches of both polished menswear and eveningwear. Abloh played also with the codes of that turbo-charged environment, such as checkered flags and racing overalls, to create an elevated casual wardrobe.
