Paco Rabanne – Fall/Winter 2020 – Paris Fashion Week

Julien Dossena chose the Conciergerie where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned before go to the guillotine to unveil his latest collection for Paco Rabanne.

This season, Dossena took a more sober direction, sticking to a traditionally autumnal, sepia-tinted color palette. While last season focused on ‘70s references and tailored dressing, this collection was all about rococo and medieval references that he transformed and gathered in a coherent and modern collection.

Historical, austere silhouettes were embellished with an abundance of surface treatments like shimmery sequins and lacquered leathers while fringes, lace, leather, embroidery and white shirts contrasting with clearly ecclesiastical necklaces, all in medieval style.
