Larry LeGaspi, the Seventies-era New York designer who created costumes for Grace Jones, Funkadelic and most notably Kiss and who also inspired the Rick Owens’s men’s collection shown in January came back here for his women’s collection.
The collection was a nod to the rock band Kiss and played out as a dialogue between glam rock and all-out glam. The first half of the show was opened with tailoring, featuring inventive and daring clothes with sculpted shoulders while the second half was focused on evening.
