For Spring/Summer 2019, Tod’s unveiled for the first time its first coed show. The Italian luxury powerhouse known for crafting comfortable and covetable footwear enlisted millennial poster girl Gigi to open the show, embodying the brand’s iconic style and a refined wardrobe.
While the collection for women offered easeful but very expensive propositions for the coming season, centered on impeccably tailored travel-ready separates (Snakeskin bombers, cropped suede trousers, fringed leather dresses…) paired to handsome leather bags in a variety of styles, the collection for men captured the spirit of la dolce vita. There was an array of suits in different silhouettes, colors, and fabrications (from linen to suede), all worn sockless with the famous Tod’s driving shoes. The guys looked good-classic and relaxed in double-breasted linen suits or vintage-looking leather biker jackets.
