Nine months after canceling his last show due to a COVID-19 outbreak in his studio, Tom Ford took over a former trading floor just beyond the World Trade Center to present a hyper glamorous collection for Spring/Summer 2023.
While the women’s collection is literally sexy with steamy black lace lingerie, black and silver disco shorts, metallic candy-colored suits and breathtaking sequin and jeweled dresses, the menswear is slightly more tempered, with leather blazers – some with crocodile effect or made from snakeskin, moire, animal prints and even a Barbie pink color – aforementioned satin cowboy shirts complete with fringe or embroidered shirts for a western touch.
