Wooyoungmi Men’s Spring/Summer 2019 – Paris Fashion Week

Fresh off the Paris Fashion Week runway, Katie Chung took time to debut her followup offering as Wooyoungmi’s lead design ace, unveiling a collection that respectfully paid tribute to the late, great David Bowie. When acknowledging the collection’s underlying theme, Chung symbolized the artist’s sartorial flair, prefacing the collection as ‘’a modernized version of David Bowie’s personal style for the next generation’’.
An eclectic line-up continues from previous seasons, emphasized by a diverse use of textiles, creating a clash of vintage and futuristic styles.
Relaxed suiting in windows-pane check, pinstripe, bright white, pajama stripe or leather, is worn with fine glittery knits and metallic effect shirts.
