After the Spring/Summer 2020 collection, presented in Paris, inspired by the iconic Kate Moss, Zadig & Voltaire return to New York for the new season, this time inspired by the Seventies Rock’n’Roll.
Major Seventies’ references ran through the collection. However, the designer didn’t just look to the more Bohemian, free-spirited side of the decade, but also to a certain bourgeois Parisian sophistication, to her native country, Sweden, to her childhood memories and to the dress codes of the Nineties.
The result was resolutely contemporary, featuring silhouettes oscillated between Rock’ spirit, with leather pieces, and casual suits, in corduroy for example, worn with sweaters enriched with Seventies patterns while colors were both neutral and eclectic.
