Allure US starts the new year and new decade with a history-making move by picking Billy Porter as the first male to ever cover the beauty-focused publication. Captured by photographer Ben Hassett, the ‘’Pose’’ actor wears a MSGM blazer and Deborah Drattell brooch on the cover.
In the cover story, fashion editor Nicola Formichetti dresses Porter in designs from labels such as Bottega Veneta, Christopher Kane, Threeasfour and Dior Men.
In the accompanying interview with Ashley C. Ford, he discusses owning his power and being unapologetically himself. Porter also touches on what he believes to be the power of artists.
