Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci presented Resort 2021 ‘’A Florentine Promenade’’ collection, that celebrates brand’s roots and the glorious 1950s.
The collection breathes the codes of the Maison: simplicity and sophistication meet femininity and high spirit to reinterpret the Pucci identity for today.
Icons of the Pucci wardrobe are celebrated, namely the pyjama palazzo, kaftan, and scarves shirt. A sophisticated easiness exudes from clothes originating from an authentic style and elegance of the mind. Minimal and clean silhouetting signals a nonchalant attitude.
Emilio Pucci’s archival scarf prints quietly invigorate the collection and fit the house’s contemporary narrative. Four prints namely Battistero, Dinamica, Scorci Fiorentini and Vetrate constitute an ode to the city of Florence in all its magnificence.
A reassuring and feminine colour palette composed of soft pink, dusty blue, off white and yellow evoke a wandering eye observing the sunrise. Distinctive yet harmonious, colours express authenticity and serenity.
It is a quest for beauty, as attested by the gentle caress of a silk georgette, the luxe of feathersembroidered on silk organza, the comfort of silk jersey inherent to the house’s sportswear heritage, and the novelty of a silk cady kaftan.
This is an appreciation of womanhood that the house’s couture and leisure heritage exalt. It is both a lifestyle and a mindset dedicated to women who enjoy the discreet pleasures of life.
