In keeping with the Hermès 2020 theme, ‘’Innovation in the Making’’, Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski presented a ‘’manifest of purity’’, where ‘’what is beautiful must be useful’’.

Her collection for Fall/Winter 2020 was about pairing neutral tones with intense primary colors. Inspired by modernist and designer, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Vanhee-Cybulski added to the layered Hermès code with color blocking and classicism. Working in strict vocabulary of primary colors, she created a baseline for an Hermès wardrobe, including more options in non-leather or using minimal-leather. Some looks came in both, well positioning the brand for changing values around consumption, and offering more accessible pieces but staying in luxury in its most extreme.
