Three years after her very first collection for men, the Parisian designer Isabel Marant, successful designer known for her ultra desirable pieces combining seduction and comfort, step in the Paris calendar this season. This new stage in the expansion of her brand clearly showed the designer’s ambition for her masculine line.
The short video that accompanied her latest men’s collection, shot at the National Dance Center in Pantin between concrete passageways and brutalist energy of the building, showed models Alpha Dia and Braien Vaiksaar, playing the freedom of movements and expending weeks of pent-up energy in cool new looks.
The fluidness and lightness of this everyday wardrobe contrasted with the raw forms of the surrounding architecture. Thus, came ultra-functional fluid pieces, chic and comfortable knits, relaxed and casual attitude that flirted with sportswear codes and a fresh chromatic palette between cream, pastel and touches of red.
