As we edge closer to Pride Month, Reebok has pulled the curtain back on an exciting collection that embodies unity, inclusivity, and champions a broad spectrum of gender identities. In a first of its kind, Reebok taps into three of its iconic silhouettes – the Classic Leather, Club C and Nano X3, to create a unisex capsule collection.
Sporting an array of neutral tones, each piece of this groundbreaking collection captures the spirit of Pride. Crisp white hues coat the Nano X3 and Club C, a tribute to the brand’s tennis staple, while the 1983 running classic, the Classic Leather, is set in a sophisticated cream composition. Previewed over the preceding weeks, the collection has stirred curiosity, and the unveiling brings to light its key intention – to inspire self-expression.
According to the brand’s press release, each silhouette boasts a pastel-infused graphic, accentuated by a striking rainbow motif, signifying the emblematic diversity and vibrancy of the LGBTQ+ community. The overarching theme is unity, facilitated by genderless sizing that forms the foundation of this pioneering capsule collection.
In addition to the impressive lineup of footwear, the collection also includes apparel pieces, demonstrating Reebok’s holistic approach to the celebration of Pride Month.
In an altruistic gesture resonating with Pride Month’s spirit, Reebok also pledges a substantial donation to the Whittier Street Health Center’s LBGTZIA+ Youth Wellness Program. The $15 000 USD donation stands as a testament to Reebok’s broader societal commitments beyond commercial pursuits.
The collection, in its entirety, currently retails between $80 USD and $150 USD, making these unique pieces accessible to a wide audience.
