The Chinese designer, based in Beijing, Xander Zhou unveiled his Fall/Winter 2021 collection through a lookbook – a manual in his words – which presented each look coming with detailed descriptions of each garment’s material and inspiration.
Describing himself readily as a “humanoidwear designer” who would therefore create neither for men nor for women, but for humanoids, Xander Zhou continued this season to renew his hybrid vision between his obsession with the future, technology, and extraterrestrial life and his modern take on Chinese elements.
