Acne Studios‘ first fragrance created in collaboration with the renowned Frédéric Malle marks a significant milestone for the brand since its inception in 1996. The exclusive fragrance, designed by Symrise’s up-and-coming perfumer Suzy Le Helley, promises a unique olfactory experience that combines the iconic aesthetics of both brands.

Inspired by Acne Studios’ iconic pink scarf, Le Helley elevated the classic structure of a laundry detergent into the realm of fine fragrance. By incorporating a quality floral bouquet and contemporary raw materials, she created a powdery, aldehydic scent reminiscent of the classic Chanel No. 5, but with a modern twist. A hint of vanilla adds a subtle gourmand touch to the fragrance.

The result is a powerful, long-lasting fragrance with a neo-classical edge that appeals to a new generation. “It has that undefinable futuristic classicism,” said Jonny Johansson, Creative director of Acne Studios. “You recognize it, but you don’t recognize it at all. You know it’s a perfume, and you’re not shocked – you’re just curious.”

Like the Acne scarf, the fragrance is designed to be comfortable and inviting, something you want to wrap yourself in.
