The future is bright in South Korea for major French brands, like AMI Alexandre Mattiussi, which is accelerating its development in the Land of the Morning Calm to feed the growing appetite of South Koreans for everything related to the French lifestyle.
Between big shows – the Parisian brand will present today in Seoul its exclusive Spring/Summer 2023 collection for men and women during the Seoul Fashion Week – and its first flagship store recently inaugurated in the chic and bohemian shopping district of Garosu-Gil, nothing can stop the French fashion house founded in 2011 by Alexandre Mattiussi. And, it is on this momentum that AMI has appointed Choi Woo-shik, one of South Korea’s most promising actors, revealed worldwide thanks to his role as Yong-guk in Yeon Sang-ho’s ‘’Last Train to Busan’’ and especially as Ki-woo in Bong Joon-ho’s multi-awarded feature film ‘’Parasite’’ – the film, considered to be one of the best of the 21st century won the Oscar for ‘’Best Film’’ and the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, as a brand ambassador.
“Becoming AMI’s Global House Ambassador is such a great honor: I am very thankful to have been given this incredible opportunity. We have already been discussing many exciting ideas and plans for the future, and I can‘t wait to get started. AMI is a brand in which I truly recognise myself: it is a brand that is very close and representative of my generation, from its unique style to its commitment to universal human values”, said Choi Woo-shik.
“I am proud and delighted to welcome today our friend Wooshik Choi as AMI’s Global House Ambassador. He is an outstanding actor, with a large range and a unique capacity to bring life to a wide variety of characters. He is a very talented artist, with a remarkable sense of style, a beautiful energy and strong values that matches those of AMI. I am very much looking forward to collaborating with him in the coming months”, said Alexandre Mattiussi.
The collaboration between the 32-year-old actor and AMI Alexandre Mattiussi will undoubtedly lead to special projects in the near future that we can’t wait to discover.
