Charlize Theron, the iconic South African actress, is embarking on a new chapter in her long-standing partnership with Dior. After 20 years as the face of J’adore perfume, Theron is now taking on the role of Dior’s high jewelry and skin care ambassador, marking a first for the French fashion house.

Theron expressed her excitement about the new venture, saying, “It’s exciting to start this chapter in a longstanding partnership with Dior. Over the past 20 years, it’s been an honor to collaborate creatively with the house as the face of J’adore. I’m proud of all we have been able to create together and to be joining Dior in celebrating the beauty of jewelry and skin care. I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”

As Dior’s first high jewelry ambassador, Theron will showcase the most exclusive pieces designed by Dior Joaillerie Artistic director Victoire de Castellane over the past 25 years. Delphine Arnault, Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, praised Theron as “the perfect representation of the alliance between arts, craftsmanship and dreams magnificently embodied by the jewelry created by Victoire de Castellane for the house of Dior.”

Theron’s appointment also reflects her broad appeal and alignment with the spirit of Dior. Her rare talent, her commitment, and her otherworldly beauty makes her an icon.”

In addition to her new roles, Theron will strengthen her collaboration with Dior on social responsibility issues, particularly women’s empowerment. This reflects her commitment as an activist and founder of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP). Theron was also named a United Nations Messenger of Peace in 2008, focusing on HIV prevention and the elimination of violence against women.

Dior is expected to announce her successor as the face of J’adore soon.

Theron’s successful film career includes roles in “Young Adult,” “Prometheus,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Atomic Blonde,” and the upcoming “Fast X” and “The Old Guard 2.” Her versatility and talent have earned her numerous awards, including an Oscar for Best Actress for her role in ”Monster.”
