The choice of location for a parade is never trivial. By choosing the Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana – an emblematic monument of 20th century fascist architecture – that houses Fendi’s headquarters in Rome and also served as the grand set for the video of her collection, Silvia Venturini Fendi wanted to pay tribute to her city Rome.

From her office at the top of the palazzo, one of the tallest buildings in Rome, for the video, she has a breathtaking view of the Eternal City, with on one side a breathtaking panorama of Rome’s famous Seven Hills, and from the other the incredible blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Privileged observer of this magnificent landscape and the changing colors of the Roman sky across the different seasons, Venturini Fendi invited colors in her Fendi men’s wardrobe – a luxurious wardrobe, but also light and playful.
Thus, lemon yellow, lime, ice blue, lilac, pistachio green and peony pink invite themselves on clothes with fluid and loose shapes, cut in airy fabrics – linen, silk, and cashmere. Prints were rich, making subtle nods to the Eternal City, such as a hand-drawn map of the Eternal City used as a motif and printed on silk pants and shorts. Not to mention incredible handbags and accessories such as superb tote bags, covered with a new version of the brand’s “F” logo, bags cut in the shape of bucket hats, Plexiglas mini Baguettes, ping-pong rackets case holder and swimming goggles developed in collaboration with specialist Arena.
