In a few weeks, Kenzo will showcase a second edition of its Spring/Summer 2024 Men’s and Women’s collection in Shanghai, a collection that previously debuted in Paris on June 23rd during Men’s Fashion Week.

On July 28th, Kenzo, part of luxury group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, plans to unveil new versions of their signature looks that were first revealed in Paris. This gesture acts as a symbolic yet appropriate bridge for the fashion house, connecting the East and the West. Artistic director Nigo has chosen Shanghai as the backdrop for Kenzo’s inaugural runway show in China, creating an echo of its recent presentation on the Passerelle Debilly – the Parisian bridge that links the Tokyo Palace to the Eiffel Tower across the Seine.

The venue for the Shanghai event remains undisclosed, along with information regarding a post-show celebration.

The Spring/Summer 2024 collection also features a notable serif font for a revamped Kenzo Paris logo. This logo, courtesy of Nigo, adorns judo jackets and canvas tote bags, and is also reproduced as an intricate pattern on t-shirts, windbreakers, and parkas.

This strategic decision underscores Kenzo’s commitment and ambition to expand its growth in the Chinese market, where the brand already has a presence with 40 stores nationwide.
