Although his menswear was more grounded in reality, the brand’s creative director Bruno Sialelli drew on the heritage of the oldest fashion house to infuse the daily wardrobe with a new sense of luxury.
Thus, clothes were in the functionality: simple, easy to wear and practical. But they were reinvented, heightened through their fabrications – satin, velvets, animaux print and sequins nod to couture heritage – while elsewhere the sensual, voluptuous de luxe of cashmere and Japanese wool transforms perception.
Continuing this trend in cocoon shapes, Sialelli created overcoats that offered protection and comfort. Wide cut tailored jackets that extended the shoulder, paired with Lanvin ‘Curb’ sneakers brought out the maximum of masculine style.
