This mostly coed collection took its cues from vintage Japanese and Italian military styles, and was a mix of sharp tailoring and soft edges. The designer used noble and heritage fabrics, such as Fair Isle knit, Harris Tweed, corduroy, worsted, flannel and sheep wool, to soften the silhouettes.
These fabrics renowned for their softness and comfort, came alongside the oversize and slouchy volumes to soften the strictness of military flair. Colors were dark, rich and earthy.
Margaret Howell also introduced her latest collaboration with Mizuno. The collaborative pieces ranged from a winterized sneaker to a parker and zip-up jacket, all of which mix Margaret Howell’s signature aesthetic with Mizuno’s technical expertise.
