For the Spring/Summer 2021, Alexandre Vauthier joined the slew of designers who decided to skip a runway show due to the pandemic. That did not stop the French designer from creating a showstopping lookbook of his latest collection.

To showcase the new looks, Vauthier teamed up with legendary fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin who captured the designer Spring/Summer 2021 prêt-à-porter which was, as he usually does it, a level down the pyramid from his last Haute Couture collection.
He offered a huge-leg track pant and sweat cut in black tulle, jersey renditions of his draped gowns, loose-leg sheer black jumpsuits and some sumptuous gold lamé pieces. A playsuit in metallic pink looked to be straight out of Studio 54, perfect for a party girl, while in sand-colored textured crêpe, balloon pants and a matching safari wrap top oozed a nonchalant Seventies allure.
