Italian luxury house Armani has just launched its new Giorgio Armani Neve Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
Launched in 1990 and relaunched in 2018, Giorgio Armani Neve (snow in Italian) is the Italian fashion designer’s dedicated winter sports line. With its understated elegance and slightly retro feel – it’s more refined compared to Emporio Armani’s sporty line – Giorgio Armani Neve is intended for skiing as well as for outdoor and mountain living.
For the 2022 Fall/Winter season, the men’s collection features classic plaid accents on a wool used for jackets and padded details. The selection includes down jackets, windbreakers, jumpsuits, vests and coats, in which the contrasting materials and details, such as pockets and elbow patches, as well as the mix of military green and dark blue discreetly but forcefully emphasize the functional spirit of the collection.
The selection is completed with hats, scarves, gloves, mittens and boots.
As for women, the selection includes quilted maxi-chevron jackets, knit down jackets, windbreakers, velvet down jackets, faux fur coats and outerwear, flared dungarees, as well as a large selection of classic and chunky knits. Silky touches of velvet in bright colors like green and blue are a classic Armani lexicon, brightening a palette of neutrals and black and white, combined or paired by color scheme. The iconic La Prima shoulder bag is also reimagined in a mountain style in wool skin.
