Kim Kardashian has officially joined the ranks of Balenciaga brand ambassadors. The Paris-based fashion house made the announcement on the opening day of Haute Couture Week in Paris, although it only presents its high-fashion collection once a year in July.

The connection between Kardashian and Balenciaga has been evident for years, with the star frequently wearing the brand’s designs in some of her most memorable fashion moments. Kardashian has appeared at Balenciaga’s ready-to-wear shows, most notably wrapped in the brand’s signature logo tape. She also graced the runway for her Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture collection and was a notable presence at the Met Gala in New York, where she and Balenciaga Creative director Demna Gvasalia both wore black jersey masks. She has also appeared in a number of advertising campaigns for the brand.

Kim Kardashian expressed her excitement for this new role, saying, “For several years now, Balenciaga’s designs have been a part of my many looks – and some of my most iconic fashion moments. This historic fashion house embraces modernity, craftsmanship and takes an innovative approach to design under Demna. For me, this longstanding relationship is built on mutual trust and a commitment to doing what’s right. I’m excited about this next chapter for the brand and to become their ambassador.”

Balenciaga, owned by the French group Kering, has been strategically expanding its roster of brand ambassadors. The addition of Nicole Kidman, Michelle Yeoh, French actress Isabelle Huppert and Thai star PP Krit Amnuaydechkorn underscores the brand’s commitment to diverse representation and global appeal.

Meanwhile, Kardashian continues to make waves with her personal brands. She has revealed plans to rejuvenate color cosmetics and is set to launch Skkn by Kim Makeup. In addition, Kardashian is venturing into the world of acting with her starring role in “American Horror Story: Delicate.”
