Embrace the essence of Italian luxury as Prada unveils its latest gem, Prada Caffè, nestled within the prestigious Harrods department store in Knightsbridge. Open from March 31st, 2023 to January 7th, 2024, this elegant café offers visitors a delectable array of culinary delights, exquisite tableware, and an ambience that exudes the unmistakable charm of Prada.

The Prada Caffè design is a testament to the brand’s heritage, with its signature mint green hue adorning the entire space. An additional balcony area provides extra seating for guests to enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere. The black-and-white checkered flooring pays homage to Prada’s Corso Vittorio Emanuele II boutique in Milan, while the intricate floral bas-reliefs draw inspiration from the brand’s international flagships.

In a nod to ancient Celadon pottery, the café’s tableware features delicate pale blue Japanese porcelain, adding a touch of refinement to the dining experience. Soon, Prada Caffè will also feature an outdoor ice cream stall, elevating Harrods’ culinary offerings even further.

The menu at Prada Caffè is a delightful journey through Italian cuisine, with options for breakfast, light lunches, and evening cocktails. Diners can indulge in mouthwatering dishes such as sandwiches, risotto, buffalo mozzarella, salmon, and crab plates. For those with a sweet tooth, the mint-green counters offer an assortment of pastries for both eat-in and takeaway, inspired by Prada’s Bar Luce in Milan, designed by renowned filmmaker Wes Anderson.

The beverage selection at Prada Caffè complements its menu, featuring negroni-based aperitifs, classic cocktails, and a carefully curated selection of wines from regions across Italy, including Sicily and Piedmont.

Prada Caffè’s debut comes on the heels of the Prada Group’s impressive financial results, with a 58% increase in net profit to €465 million in 2021 compared to €294 million in 2020. The brand’s success is attributed to the strong performance of both Prada and Miu Miu across all product categories.

With Prada Caffè, the iconic fashion house extends its luxurious touch to the world of gastronomy, inviting visitors to savor La Dolce Vita within the hallowed halls of Harrods.
