In the midst of a global pandemic, Fendi’s creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi has tried to give us a little optimism and energy with her new collection filled with colors both in clothes and in the set background.
Thus, her models whisked across an immersive 360° mirrored tunnel filled with neon door flashing frames, with a fast and hypnotic rhythm on the background melding electronic beats by Not Waving and snippets of the designer speaking.
The search for positivity and the need for comfort have pushed Silvia Venturini Fendi to reinvent menswear classics in loose, relaxed cuts, and in fabrics that exuded comfort and softness.
Reversible shearling, textured knits as well as padded pieces, all worked in neutral tones, were strongly highlighted in the collection, while exuding timeless masculine elegance. These paraded paraded beside bold monochromatic outfits in orange, yellow, blue, green and pink and outfits splashed with a multicolor print developed by British artist Noel Fielding.
