New Balance Football has just signed Brazilian football prodigy Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa (known mononymously as Endrick). This is a move that shows how New Balance is keen to support new talent and to combine sporting excellence with a cultural vibrancy.
Only 17, Endrick is already making waves in the soccer world. He’s known as a great striker who plays with his left foot. He started getting noticed when he was just 15, playing for the Palmeiras and Brazil youth teams. In 2022, when he was 16, he set a record at Palmeiras as the youngest player ever to score a goal. He then topped that with a goal to become the second-youngest scorer in Brazilian Serie A history. Now he’s with Roc Nation Sports International.

He’s done some impressive things in his short career. For example, he was the top scorer for Palmeiras in the league with 11 goals and helped them win the Brazilian Serie A trophy two years in a row. His talent earned him a spot in the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. He’s the youngest player to be called up in nearly 30 years. He made his debut against Colombia, adding another youngest-ever record to his name.
In 2024, Endrick’s career will take another big step forward. He’ll join Real Madrid from Brazil on his 18th birthday in a record-breaking transfer deal.
